One thing we all miss during our time remote working is the inspirational uplift afforded by a great looking meeting room. It will be some time before we are holding meetings in space and the Zoom backdrop doesn’t really fool anyone. Luckily, we have a great range of inspiring meeting rooms in London that will energise all those attending an in-person event.
We’ve collated the very best spaces in our London meeting venues that will ensure you have "no bored meetings".
1. The Consent Suite
An urban and industrial feel, The Consent Suite, has exposed services and is a great space for a brainstorming session. Soft veil curtains contrast with the exposed brickwork creating an eclectic mix of textures making this a truly stimulating environment. An informal area breaks up the room and allows you to quickly switch from a formal meeting to a relaxed break whilst staying in the private space. Great if you have a series of meetings with clients or for an agency pitch and need a room in Central London.
A beautiful room with elegant décor, light wood furniture, ceiling coffer, credenza lamps and white walls all of which enhance and help illuminate the already bright, airy space. The in-built flatscreen TV, strong Wi Fi and easy addition of our professional video conference kit (Room in a Box) makes hosting an international event here effortless. Headquarters has an adjacent meeting room called Upstairs, which can be used as a Lounge for VIPs. Upstairs comes with a SMEG fridge packed full of refreshments that will keep meeting delegates supercharged.
3. The Learn Room
If you are looking for something a little more functional then the fun and funky rooms at Chancery Lane, including The Learn and Network Rooms, are a good choice. A different accent wall in every room, exposed services and high ceilings make these perfect training rooms. The spacious restaurant on the second floor is flooded by natural light and great to break into for group work. Soundproofing is key for quiet and focused training sessions or private meetings.
4. The Countess Suite
Looking for a grand and historic setting for your next meeting but still need all the modern amenities? Then Countess Suite at County Hall is a great solution. The venue has been carefully restored to create over 68,000 sq ft of great meeting and conference space. The Countess Suite is just one of 30 conference and event rooms to choose from and is ideal for a prestigious meeting. Since, County Hall is only a short distance from Westminster, you might find a politician or two at the open coffee points. This venue also has rooms with a view of Big Ben, something that would impress any international delegate for a global company meeting.
5. The Drawing Room
Not designed as an artist’s studio, although it is full of interesting works of art. The Drawing Room is more of an informal meeting space. It can be hired privately but more often the meetings that take place in here are a coffee chat or a lunch meeting.
6. The Spirit Room
A quirky meeting room, The Spirit Room, with the addition of Pac Man to the main wall will make any gamer feel nostalgic. This is part of a collection of welcoming spaces on the 5th floor at our venue near Monument. The whole floor can be hired for a product launch or each individual meeting room can be rented for a highly stimulating day. The adjacent “hub” area has a kitchen with a juice-filled fridge, a fooseball table and a pic ‘n‘ mix stand. A meeting doesn’t need to be too serious, play time can help people get much more out of an away day.
