Cool Rooms To Be Creative
To get creative you need an inspiring setting. We understand that a creative meeting should be held in a stimulating environment. The surroundings and space should encourage new ideas or different viewpoints but must also be practical so you achieve your goals. With this in mind, we’ve collected the best of our London meeting rooms that ensure creativity will flourish when you get together.
1. ‘Drive’ room
The ‘Drive’ room is full of natural light and has panoramic views of the City, including Iconic buildings like the Shard, Tower Bridge and City Hall. With so many architectural masterpieces as a backdrop it is hard to imagine a more creative room. The vintage furniture, desk and chairs give an air of nostalgia. Add in the Tonka trucks on shelves on the wall and you can see why we have called the room ‘Drive’. With a built-in screen, plenty of useful power points and room for up to 10 attendees, the air-conditioned room is ideally suited for team meetings, brain-storms, pitches and presentations.
2. ‘Spirit’ room
'Spirit' is the perfect setting for a large creative meeting. This vibrant, sound-proofed, air-conditioned space is full of natural light and features a cool and stunning Pac-Man inspired artwork that frames the main screen. If you look a little closer you will find a host of nostalgic gamer memorabilia adorns the Pac Man shelves. There is sure to be something that sparks a conversation or allows you to reminisce. On the opposite wall to the screen there is a colourful scribble board to get the artists in the group engaged. We recommend everyone gets involved using the scribble board as doodles are a great way to encourage ideas and interaction.
3. The Study Rooms (1 – 4)
The Study rooms are four small rooms in a cluster around a living wall. This collection of rooms are identical in size but each room has its own unique artwork and design. The theme is eclectic, high-end industrial and playful. Quirky fittings and furnishings include vintage sideboards, tree trunk stools, factory workshop benches and inviting sofas alongside traditional furniture. Art and decorative features include trends borrowed from street artists, plant displays, textures and 3D artwork. An unusual mix of ceiling designs add to the talking-point set-pieces that etc.venues is known for.
4. ‘The Drawing Room’
A unique space unlike any other in our portfolio. Mainly used as a private dining room, this space doubles up as a great place to hold meetings. Clients love the relaxing atmosphere, flickering fireplace, and interesting wall art. Seats 18 attendees comfortably in boardroom set-up.
