John recently joined etc.venues USA as Sales Development Manager based at our venue at 360 Madison, New York. He joins from Choose Chicago where he was National Sales Manager, Northeast. Previously he worked for several years both for Visit Britain in New York City and for Destination DC.
John is also well-known within the industry through his roles with Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Greater New York Chapter where he is Director of Sponsorship and was previously Director of Member Recruitment. He was also a member of the Programs Committee of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) New York Chapter for two years.
He joins us just as we launch our second venue in New York City, at 601 Lexington Avenue, following our first opening at 360 Madison Avenue in March, 2020. John commented: “This is an exciting time to be joining etc.venues. 601 Lexington Avenue is a superb addition to the portfolio with its wide range of impressive rooms and facilities coming available just as meetings and training events are coming back into Manhattan. It is immediately attracting substantial bookings from major corporate organisations.”
