Chancery Lane underground

etc.venues to launch the next generation of training space with a new venue in Chancery Lane, London.

Contemporary city-centre venue specialist etc.venues is to bring ‘the training and meeting space of the future' to London. Announcing plans today for its 17th UK venue, the new 5-floor training space will open in the Autumn.

Just minutes from Chancery Lane, Holborn and Farringdon tube stations, the vibrant 28,000 sq. ft. etc.venues Chancery Lane will mix vintage and old school with an urban street feel in its progressive, co-working-friendly design. Surrounded by classic etc.venues built-in AV, bespoke all-day service, artistic flair and architectural quirks, business will happen in 28 purpose-built rooms and spacious collaborative areas.

Designed to inspire professionals to interact, learn and get creative in a more stimulating and inclusive setting than the conventional corporate training venue, the new space will feature a vast collaborative lounge and formal and informal zones to work, rest and play.

Head of Design, Franck Rosello, says:

“etc.venues Chancery Lane will offer the perfect backdrop for a modern, future-proof learning experience. The flexible, inspirational setting will reflect the more relaxed learning style of today’s workforce. We guarantee premium substance as well as style, so functionality, top-end tech and comfort will go hand-in-hand with striking features to reflect the playful etc.venues personality.”

"The theme is eclectic, high-end industrial and playful. Quirky fittings and furnishings are to include vintage sideboards, tree trunk stools, factory workshop benches and inviting sofas alongside traditional training furniture. Art and decorative features will include trends borrowed from street artists, plant displays, textures and 3D artwork. An unusual mix of ceiling designs will add to the talking-point set-pieces that etc.venues is known for."

“Gone are the days of stuffy, expensive syndicate rooms and additional charges for trainers’ offices. Delegates want to enjoy more collaborative space and etc.venues Chancery Lane will bring it in abundance. Think co-working benches, nooks for private conversations, break-out zones for group work and interactive areas for blue sky thinking with the fun additions of table football and Xbox games! This space is an exciting, uplifting contrast of old and new, combining brick, concrete, timber and leather finishes to create a feel unlike other London training spaces.”

“For extra energy, the ‘collaborative lounge’ will be linked to all other floors by a stunning glass staircase flooded with natural daylight and served by on-site bespoke chefs offering all-day refreshments.”
